Biography
Mokhtar Ahmadi was killed on October 1, 2022, in Marivan, Kurdistan province, Iran, during the nationwide protests. He was reportedly killed by government forces. His tombstone in Darsiran Cemetery in Marivan was later defaced by government agents, who reportedly fear the graves of "martyrs of the path to freedom."
مختار احمدی در تاریخ ۹ مهر ۱۴۰۱ در مریوان، استان کردستان، ایران و در جریان اعتراضات سراسری کشته شد. او بنا بر گزارشها توسط نیروهای حکومتی به قتل رسید. سنگ مزار او در آرامستان دارسیران مریوان بعداً توسط عوامل حکومتی که از مزار «شهیدان راه آزادی» هراس دارند، تخریب و مخدوش شد.
